Myself and She Izabella Granville June 2007
I became involved in the German Shepherd Dog breed in 1996 with Lady Shannon of Granville CGC, RN, GSDCA 13 Club (2/16/96 - 8/22/09). In 1998 I began working in the animal care/veterinary field and familiarized myself with the many health problems that affect the German Shepherd Dog breed. I also started attending obedience training classes, where I began to learn about the drives and temperaments associated with working dogs. Over the years I expanded on my training experiences and tried out agility, conformation, rally, flyball, herding, dock diving, therapy visits, tracking, and schutzhund. In 2008 I attended courses to become a Certified Dog Groomer, as well as a Certified Dog Obedience Instructor. I am also an AKC Approved Canine Good Citizen Evaluator. I bred my first litter in 2009, my second litter in 2011. I hope to be able to achieve great things with my German Shepherd Dogs, and more importantly I hope others will enjoy their Granville German Shepherds for many years to come!
